Dharmender Sharma grew up in India and was educated at University of Rajasthan, Jaipur where he received his M. Phil. Degree in South Asian Studies. He has 19 years of business experience in a variety of senior leadership and consulting roles at Management consulting companies and
international Social Development organisations including CONCHIUS Shanghai Ltd. (In China & India), Communication Consulting Ltd. (Division of GP Strategies), Trace Foundation (In China), Plan International, Care International and Aga Khan Foundation since 1994.
Dharmender is an accredited ICC Certified Master Coach; one of only around 40 current practitioners operating in Asia. He gained his ICC coaching certification in 2012 to start on the path of external coaching and training for businesses in Asia looking to develop the leadership potential of their High Performers. He is accredited in basic and advanced Harrison Assessment solutions to help support recruitment, succession planning and performance improvement to various multinational organisations in Asia. In this accreditation he had practiced analyzing main graph, Job Satisfaction Formula customization and analysis of behavioral competencies. Dharmender had used HA tools and reports for Management Excellence programs, coaching programs and also for one to one coaching sessions. Dharmender is accredited Whole Life Profile tool practitioner and advanced life coach, trained by Dr. Dan Harrison and Ava Harrison in 2013. He has been involved in designing the practitioner workbook for WLP workshops also. Dharmender is also certified trainer in many of CONCHIUS modules on Communications and Leadership. He is certified facilitator on CELEMI Decision Base (Finance for Non Finance simulation program) and Cayenne (Project Management Simulation program). Dharmender has trained, coached and developed individual contributors, newly promoted leaders, Mid-level managers and senior management teams from Honda Siel Power Products, Springer Japan, SKF China, JNLI, IOCL, OIL, GAIL, SRF, EIL, metzeler automotive profile systems, Atlas Copco, Ray-Ban, Luxottica, Akzo Nobel, Genpact Global Leadership Program, New Holland Tractors (Fiat India), Tech Asso, Carrefour Global Sourcing Asia and Save the Children International and Care International etc. Dharmender believes that his deep well of communications experience garnered across Asia puts him in a great position to maximise people’s potential through training, mentoring and coaching. Outside his business arena Dharmender has interest in writing poetry. He supports a small NGO in Alwar, Rajasthan, India which strives to provide quality education to deprived girl children from the minority community. He enjoys an active lifestyle, loves cricket, and is an avid Badminton player. Since 2008 Dharmender Sharma has been cooperating with Mindset India.
